I like how facebook says we're talking about walkmans.

Those really were the great days.

We didn't just sit around in front of computers everyday. We went out and explored! Played in playgrounds, rode bikes, climbed over our neighbours fences...

Playing on the streets.

I remember every saturday all the kids in the neighbourhood would be out on the streets with their bikes and jump ropes. Playing games like "ice and water", "police and thieves." I learned how to ride my bike there, totally due to peer pressure.

*after many failed attempts at home, one fine saturday afternoon*

Girls: Farah boleh naik basikal?
Me: BOLEH. BOLEH.

Hops on and prays for a miracle.

.... and it happened.

That was the first time I rode a bike.

Oh 90's. The days of the

Boy Bands.

Back street boys, nsync, 98 degrees, west life...

and the leading pop princesses like britney spears and christina aguilera.

This played on my ipod the other day when I put it on shuffle. Got me smiling like an idiot and eventually dancing and bobbing my head along swanston street.

How cute was justin timberlake back then? cue syncronized dancing :P

Video tapes. I still have a lot of my video tapes. Remember those huge discs? what were they called.. that's how my sister and I used to watch shows, we'd rent them from a shop.

Laser discs.
I think that's what you call it.

And come on.. of course.. the days of the...

GO GO POWER RANGERS

Hahaha, its morphin time.

My cousins and I were so into them. Everyday we'd be the power rangers. Climbing on walls and windows for our missions, killin it with our kung fu and air kicks, everyone wanted to be the pink ranger.

Definitely should be on guitar hero.

Back to reality. Gotta go for dinner :)

Note: Long awaited crab dinner at nong and jimmy.
Massive black pepper thai crabs, tom yum soup, nasi goreng, butter prawns..

*drools*
