Last day of college

Who would've thought that the empty class we used sometimes for our psych periods would end up becoming our main classroom?

Chan wei pang a.k.a Taylors sam

All the girls of HH5. Yes, we have that little people in our class.

Geng Kaki ponteng!!

By the way, these two are getting married.

I'm gonna miss them...

Try and guess who the drama queens are?

Last chance to take a weird photo with jim. We got a weird photo alright.

Bye bye ping pong table

bye bye pool table

bye bye foozball table

Our usual place to go to after school. The not so quiet library. Shhhhhh!

Meet Saiful.
First day I met him, belanja dia kuey teow. hahah. He's the one with the awesome voice and we've supported each others musical events.
Oh and he's weird too!

Did you guess yet?

Everyone was such posers that day. YEAH.

I thought george looked really cool so I bothered to crop this =P

Somehow the photo turned out like this. I like!
Darren, he has a baby face too!

Pictures with the koreans =)

Me: Are you gonna miss us snooopy! We won't be saying hi to you anymore.
Snoopy: *Nods head* =)

He looks like an ex-cempakan! Jeremy kan???

Ishh.. he's camera shy >.<

LAST CHANCE TO PLAY!

Wilbur.
I remember the first time i met him and said hi, the next day we were at wok hei and he was at another table. He actually bothered to call out to me and said

"hi farah"

Wilbur: just wanted to show u that I remember your name.

Hahaha, that was so cute. Now I'm gonna miss hearing him say "hi farah" in college =P

Iyad and athirah! Hahhaha, you guys arrr... I'll leave it at that.

Wai cheong: I'm blind.

Sam! He's also in saiful's band. A korean that speaks actual englishhh conversations to me =P
We pass by this area of furnitures everyday to go ou of college for lunch.. and kah fai asks me

Kahfai: Eh, whose house is that?

Ahhh... John kwan.
Ever since he saw me stuff my face at the food fair, EVERYWHERE I go, he would always see me eat. Hence, the picture. I'm gonna avoid sydney if u really go there dude =P

They were giving out free drinks, somehow, were always there for free drinks.

Miss azreena's video she made for us... so touching =(

Came with a cupcake!

Pictures with our teachers

Mr Vedha

Miss Alicia
Miss Praveen

Miss Azreena

To end our last day, gatsby dance workshop! As you can see, there were more people sitting than dancing. Its okay nel, we learned something new =P

There was a game where we had to use hair spray and hair gel to style your partners hair.

There was a tie between siew siah and Iyad so they had to battle it out.

IYAD CAN BREAK DANCE. That was so cool.

Anyway it was fun for us cuz we stayed the whole time and learned all these different dance moves.

This is Alex. He taught us how to do the waaaaveee ~~~~
He taught us the scooby doooo! and other stuff I cant remember =P
Her name is Cleo. She taught us reggae dance moves... bessss

Fellas. Semua nama glamour. heheh. He taught us how to pop. Which fyi, looked ridiculous when we tried it out. hahahha.

He didn't teach anything but he dances so welllll. I have a video of him performing again that day, actually all of em, but I think you've seen a lot of videos of them already no?

Phone died, all the nice pictures are in siew siah and wei pangs camera =) We took a nice group photo. And when we were going back, I was thanking all the dancers and hugging them. So one of the guys leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek and I'm not used to that you see (so called religious malay) Then he turned to his other cheek, waiting for me to kiss it.

I was smiling on the outside, but inside

"What do i do?! I'm a muslim!"

So I just air kissed instead. hahah.

Shut up =P

I'm gonna miss everyone, but let me just list a few that made this year what it was.

Athirah

Whose gonna listen to my ramblings now?!
Whose lame jokes can I keep record of now?!
Whose gonna be there for me at 3 in the morning now?!
Whose tak dilyan statements can I hyperventilate at now?!
Whose gonna knock on glass doors and run away screaming with me now?!
Whose gonna gossip with me at every second of the day now?!
Whose face am I gonna laugh at now?!

Whose gonna start shuffling with me out of nowhere?!
Whose gonna purposely go "OHH!" and then laugh when I'm scared now?!
Whose gonna watch me talk and laugh to myself now?!
Whose gonna be weird with me now?!

Not you =(

Whose gonna take photos of me behind my back now?!
Whose gonna take secret videos of nel and I dancing in class now?!
Whose gonna bicker with nel while I watch and laugh now?!
Whose gonna help me take note of athirah's lame jokes now?!
Whose gonna enjoy reading athirahs lame jokes that I took down now?!

Not you =(

Whose gonna drive me everywhere now?!
Whose gonna moon walk with me now?!
Whose weird dance moves am I gonna imitate and laugh at now?!
Who am I gonna trash in ping pong now and get angry at me for saying that until he makes a blog about it now?!
Whose gonna take weird pictures for the album he made for me on fb now?!
Whose gonna share butter prawns with me now?!
Whose gonna be there for me now?!

Not you =(

We'll see each other for exams, but you know, thats only for a while, then, byee.. Even though its only been what, 8 months? Feels like forever, well, a short forever. Like I said before, I'm gonna miss my college friends... teachers... taylors.

Thanks for the memories.

Note: EXAMS ONE MORE WEEK. No more fooling around.

End of life at Taylors College for SAM students (Part 1)

[Warning: Obviously, this will be a very long post]

Another warning: I am a very sentimental, long-winded person. I apologize in advance. HEHE.

Beginnning of March...

First ice breaker ...

Birthdays came...

And traditions began!

Friendships grew...

We started supporting each other too =P

THEN... ah start la.

We were really getting used to everything... meeting more people along the way

Last week of college
...

There was this beautiful paper rose that someone made and stapled it onto the notice board. It was just soo... captivating...

So...

I stole it.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

Oh come on. They left it on the notice board. They won't miss it. If you know who made it please tell she/he that its beautiful and .. sorrryy!

Doodle of HH5 students I did =)

Last time eating at... WOK HEI.

~*~*~*~*~

I'm always helping Pang out with his grammar.

Pang: You are stupid people on earth

Me:
No la pang... its

"You are the dumbest person on earth"

I was saying it in a very clear and straight forward tone so that he would understand.

But eavesdroppers who weren't paying attention not knowing that I was correcting his sentence was all... OHHHHHH SO BAD LA FARAH!! and this mat salleh lady looked at me like one kind, APALLED at what I had just said to him!

JUMP!

I heart my 2 besties =(

See we do this thing...

It all started few months ago, when athirah and I needed to go to the little ladies room. They have these glass door classrooms in the centre of the area, so you can see people leaning against the wall comfortably...

right?

so, wrong.

Me: *Knocks on part where someone was sleeping against the wall*

RUUUUUUUUUUNNNN!!!!!

*Runs of screaming with laughter*

And a tradition/ weekly activity was born for the 3 lifeless girls

Note: If I ever have any IB readers and you guys are our usual victims... sorry! Now you know =P

D-Day

Dance Day!

We had people from Gatsby dance crew, latin dancers, TCSH students, TCS students etc. come over and showed us their moves. Gatsby is having a free dance workshop just for us in a few weeks time, so they were promoting it on D-Day.

There's just so many good videos, but my phone baterry DIED halfway.

But I managed to get a few good ones. The others are in other people's camera. Maybe I'll upload em later. But for now, I don't care I'm gonna post the ones I got up.
First one

Check out the girl from Gatsby doing some awesome break dancing. One of the dancers noticed I was recording them and actually came up to the camera and said something!
video

The whole crew doing they're thing.
video

And the best video of the whole event goes to...

Spontaneous dance battle

We got people from college who we never expected come up and showed off their awesome moves. Snoopy, adorable korean snoopy, can dance! Laveen solid la. Henry is of course the coolest as always. They were all awesome. And check out the ladies who dared to shake it ;)

video

It was a tie, so one representative from each group had to come up and battle it out.

video

Terrence beat henry. Both were goooood, but I thought henry was better, ah well, the crowd decided and they cheered more for terrance. Not my fault henry got no friends... HAHAH. KIDDING. I was screaming like mad if that counts. =P

Great job to the organizers!

Oh and the food fair was awesome too
Hopped from one stall to the other and practially ate everything.

John: FD..You haven't stopped eating since the thing started few hours ago.

Me:
... shut up.

Nel and I had 2 huge rolls of Kimbak cause it was so delicious. And only for rm5.

*Kimbak is korean sushi*

Money went to charity =)

On another note,

that was the last day of college with this guy =( By the time A-levels students finish their exams, SAM students would be done with college.

See ya around buddy.

Hari Raya 09

Happy 20th Birthday sista. Omg, your so old.
___________________________________________________

Raya was just as awesome as I expected it to have been. Spent the first day in KL with my dad's side of the family. Which I might add has like a full on multi-racial thing going on.

We have the melayu family.

The indian family

And the chinese.Haha!

And here are my crazy young aunts who I grew up playing soldier games with.

Aunty sha sha: Tu nampak macam sedap je.
*Gives her our food. Few seconds later*

Aunty sha sha: Minum air ape tu?

She was the one who made me and my sister sit by the pond for a photoshoot session.

Aunty sha-sha: Okay duduk kat tepi ni, buat la macam tgh main-main dengan air tu.
Me: HAHAHA! WAT?

Aunty sha-sha: Gelak gelak la sikit, bagi nampak lagi lembut!

Aunty sha-sha: Eeeeee! anak sape la ni!

And this is my kak amy. She used to be a super tomboy, but now she's all girlified!

Here's my dad remixing raya songs with the dj keyboard setting. So you could hear... wiki wiki... dup dup dup dup... *selamat* wiki wiki dup dup dup *hari raya*...

He was so into it.

And these are the next generation of our society.
So anti social man, I bet all ur younger siblings/cousins are always playing their nintendo DS and gameboys >.<

Speaking of cousins, here are some of my adorable ones.

This is Ariff man.

He asked us to call him that.

"Take a picture of me and my friend, mr. finger!"

This is Zarif.

He's super tiny, but super adorable.

"Kak faghah... this is my handbag"

Ignore the fact that I look like a ghost, look at the cutie pie!

This is ifah.

From my mom's side of the family.

And this, is her version of the peace sign.

This is Faris.

Ifah's older brother.

He stares at you with those eyes and you just melt...

Gedik moments.

Then, balik kampung to Ipoh!

Teaching my brother how to smile

In ipoh, who needs open houses, when you have a river, Simpang Pulai!

From our expressions, try and tell how the temperature of the water was like.

Yup.

Sejuk gila nak mampos degrees celicius.

The monkey on the tree is my cousin btw. Abg cho. The oldest cousin.

And this is his sister, kak nyah.

See the person that I'm talking to? That's another one of my cousins.

Who ppl say looks exactly like me.

Just like her brother who looks and acts just like mine. Except hes super tall.

My little cousins who are all grown up. Haven't seen them in ages.

Hariz wouldn't let go of his precious stick the whole time.

Now here's a little story.
To cross over the river to the other side, might seem easy.

But halfway in between, there's actually a really strong current, so you end up staying at one spot and moving further and further away.

It looked like so much fun... I wanted to cross over.

Note that I was wearing my mom's tracksuit bottom, so my attempt to swim across was a slight strugggle. Not only did the pants pull me down slowly, when that was happening, as I was sinking into the water, NORMALLY, people would rush to help right?

Nooo... one of my cousins just smiled and waved at me

Abg Amir: Bye bye!!

Hahah. Terrible.

But I somehow made i through with abg cho's help pulling me to safety. And when it was time to go back, everyone crossed the river except for abg amir and he was the last one. Then it was our turn to ignore him and say bye bye!!

There, jejaka-jejaka tampan... and abg amir. HEHE.

Fyi, he's the chubby one in white!

And this is Abg Zahir. The one who I've always been close to and is just the sweetest person ever.

Abg Zahir: Eh adik ape tu kat tangan adik

*takes my hand and suddenly puts it behind his butt and farts*

Sweet huh?

I have a lot of crazy cousins. Now that they know that (1) I got robbed (2) I want to do music, they're having a field day.

(1)

Sha sha: Sempat lagi nak sembang, tanya what are you doing?
Me: Hahah. Orang tengah panik la.
Sha sha: Adik nak dia kata apa. Saya ni nak tengah curi beg awak ni. Tunggu dulu ye, jangan jerit lagi. Bila dia nak cabut dah...

"Sekarang anda boleh jerit"

(2)

Abg amir: Adik, nak abg amir bawak adik untuk kelas vocal kat ipoh tak?

Me: Hah? kat mana?

Abg amir: Tu dekat rumah abg amir, nak jumpa your future classmate.

*fyi. He lives behind a cemetary*

Abg Amir: Dia nyayi lagu bess bess, boleh hit note tinggi tinggi tau.

I slept over their house and in the middle of God knows what time, we drove passed the graveyard and he actually stopped the car and said

"Okay, have fun in class."

Crazy.

After that, we watched them play their beloved footsall. It was pretty hilarious.

We did more stuff after that but I'm too sleepy to continue my rants. Anyway, hope you guys had a great raya as well. Till next time.

Buh bye.

Balik Kampung

FINALLY

No more fasting.

No more excessive rubbish harsh obstacles of life to test my patience.

No more strict rules to follow.

No more trials.

No more.

Selamat Hari Raya!

I have never felt so grateful for raya till now. After all the horrible things that have been going on these past few weeks,

I could really use a break. 1 whole week to be exact.

*grins*

In conjunction to hari raya, lets test out my blogging skills using my mother tongue.

BAHASA MELAYU :- Krepot gangster style.
_______________________________________________________

Ahhh... selamat petang kawan-kawanku yang teramat mulia....

Aku rasa PUAS GILA DOH dah nak raya esok.

*Hahahha. Ahh...*

Dah la satu bulan tak makan elok-elok. Setiap hari perut aku bising kuat gila macam singa. Tak habis-habis. Buat malu diri je.

Kenapa malu?

Sebab orang lain ingat bunyi kuat tu kentut.

Ish. Mana ada.

Korang nak balik kampung bila eh? Aku balik esok. PERAK, yo. Tahun lepas kita orang tak balik mana-mana... duduk kat KL buat open house.

Ayah saya orang Kelantan.

Mu kecek klate?

Tapi tahun ni... atuk saya baru je meninggal dunia... inalillah wainalillah... Jadi tak meriah la sangat kan. Nak balik Kelantan pun takda gunanya sebab nenek saya pun ada kat KL lagi.

Takpe la...

Lama tak makan rendang tok. Nenek saya dari Ipoh tu memang pandai masak rendang.

SEDAP oh.

Ada la satu raya beberapa tahun yang lepas, pertama kali aku merasai rendang nenek aku, setiap hari, aku makan rendang je sorang 5-6 kali. Dah la rendang tu penuh dengan minyak kan?

Aku pun pening je satu hari, rasa pelik pulak.

Pastu... HO. Muntah terus.

Bukan muntah rendang... muntah MINYAK.

Jadi korang yang nak raya ni, ingatlah diri sikit. Jangan terlampau macam aku pulak.

Okeh la bros, aku nak kena keluar dengan keluarga aku. Hari terakhir nak buka puasa dah ni.

Sekali lagi aku mengucapakn... Selamat hari raya! Maaf Zahir dan batin.

Ampun beribu-ribu ampun atas segala kesalahan yang ku telah melakukan terhadapmu.
E.g. blogging in melayu krepot gangster style =P

Athirah oh Athirah

A true friend is you.
_________________________________________________________

Happy 18th Birthday to someone very special.

Here's a little story of our life.

We met in Tadika and became best friends.

It's like beauty and the beast.

But at one point we hardly ever saw each other expect for birthdays...

random occassions...

And to study for SPM >.<
And suddenly this year
Ats: I'm going to Taylor's College!!
Me: MEE TOO!!

*Non stop SCREAMING*

We not only get to go to the same college, but get to be classmates as well=)

The one who notcied my fetish for pergedils. Who memorized my four favourite foods.

(1) Meat
(2) Potato
(3) Cheese
(4) Egg

Only a true friend would drive all the way to see me at my grandfather's tahlil when I needed a shoulder to cry on, despite the fact that she waited 45 minutes outside the house while we were praying when she could have just come inside =P

I really think that out of all the nice people that I know... you really have the biggest heart
This picture nearly made me cry...

I don't know what I would've done without you this year

E.g. Laughing and collecting all your lame jokes =) Which those rempits stole... but it will always be in my heart!

... And me for you eh *wink wink*

So thanks for everything.... Adam.

HAHA. Kidding Athirah.

I love you babe =)

Despite the fact that It's the first day of trials just like it was the first day for UPSR =P...

Hope you had a great one!

Note: Thanks jim for sending me home today. I had a horrible feeling when he drove down my street. My dad got the car window fixed and wants me to drive tomorrow... I'm scared.

Motorcyclists are always up to no good

Patience is virtue... So they say.

Syed Mohd. Ozair hopes the fucker who stole his dads bag kena tangkap
and then fucked in the ass by gays in jail
Farah Diyanah I hope the guy who stole my bag gets that same fate

____________________________________________

I know people don't publicly blog about their traumatizing experiences with the world. But that's the only way I can get it out of my system.

This morning I went to college, thought I lost my Ipod. Looked for it everywhere and found it... but I shouldn't have bothered.

Cause I got robbed a few hours later.

I was on my way home from college and I was driving pretty fast and cutting a lot of cars so I didn't think anyone was following me. I even tried out this road just to look at a few of the houses and it was a dead end, when I turned back there was no cars or motorcycles around.

The moment I got to the street of my house, I had to wait for the gate to open and I noticed 2 motorcycles were behind me coming closer.

One of them stayed behind my car to block my way and the other approached the passenger window and he knocked on it first. I thought he was gonna scold me or something for cutting cars.

But he ended up smashing the window open and I was so shocked. He was reaching towards me and I actually said to him...

"What are you doing?!"

And he looked at me and said

"Stop. Stop."

So I did.

No offense to him, he looked like a noob theif. I could see his face so clearly. What kind of moron tries to rob someone with a transparent helmet. But I was in too much shock to do anything about it. Then he reached down and grabbed my bag.

When he grabbed my bag and only THEN I realized what he was trying to do.

"Please please... don't do this."

He ignored me looked around and just saw books and made a break for it with his back up. I horned nonstop but no one came out to help.

And I kept saying no to myself as I sat there and watched them leave.

I don't know what I was feeling...

Yes I'm thankful I'm not hurt, but I hated the fact that they got away with it. Made a police report but whats the point. And tomorrow is the first day of my trial exams.

I knew I was an unlucky person, but this is just ridiculous.

Thank you so much to all the people who called me to make sure I was okay, but I'm fine now.

Uncle: You can always replace your valuables,
but you can never replace a life. Be thankful that he didn't hurt you.

True...

but it still sucks to lose your valuable.
Wallet, i.c., driving license, money, IPOD...

Luckily for me I was too lazy to put my books and notes in my bag so I have all of them with me now to study for trials.

But I did lose my homework journal.

Jim: HA? The spander ketat photo is gone!

Sorry Jim =( Good thing I took a photo of it beforehand...

They always target female drivers. DON'T put your bag at the passenger seat, even underneath the seat. Put it in your boot. Make sure you observe around you before you get into the car.

Always say a prayer.

Note: I will never forget his face. I feel so violated.

Dear tok ayah

You were a friendly.

In such a way that if we went to a restaurant, by the time we finished our meal, you would have talked to every waiter and known their whole life story, saying goodbye to everyone before we leave.

You were respected.

In such a way that no matter where we went, someone would recognize you and approach and talk to you in such a way that even I could tell that they had extreme respect for you.

You were kind.

In such a way that every time I saw you, you always had the brightest smile on your face. Even when you were extremely ill, you asked me if I wanted to use your pillow to lie down since you noticed I was sleepy.

You were strong.

In such a way that even after we found out about your illness, you never gave up on life. Despite the fact that after a while, you realized you couldn't necessarily do things for yourself, you never gave up. Even though you struggled to walk, you still found the strength to do it, even if it was just a small thing as standing up and getting a tissue. Despite the fact that we told you we would get it for you, you would still make an effort to do it yourself. People might take that as being stubborn... but I admired you for that.

You were loved.

In such a way that when you were in the hospital, a friend of yours drove all the way to my house asking us where we could find you. He told me how he had been friends with you since primary school and how great of a friend you had been to him.

Just like you had been to all of us.

~~~~~
Sometimes the gift of a smile can be looked upon as a curse.
Because you can never truly show how you feel deep inside.
I am and will always be proud to have had you as my grandfather.
We miss you already...
1924-2009
Rest in peace.
You really don't have to be young to find a friend in a teddy bear.
kahfai, lee says: (3:20:20 PM)
If u ever become crazy, i'll come visit u
Um. Thanks...
_______________________________________________________________
Everyone has their own way to deal with stress.
This is mine.
Meet my life size bear a.k.a brownie.
*I'm never gonna hear the end of this one*
I've been feeling pretty down these past few weeks. And well sometimes...
People just suck.
*That's a simple way of putting it.*
So its as if your being comforted by a huge, fluffy and warrmm person. Best part, no matter what you do to them, they never fight back!
When people ask me...
"How are you always smiling?"
Let me show you.
We sit down and get comfortable.
I start telling all my grandmother stories.
Then once I start feeling better, we play games. Like staring contests.
Fyi, I obviously win.
We sing together.
And we pose.
Show me your winning smile
Pang: Didn't you know... love is no eyes?
*And there I was thinking love is blind. What a bimbo*
P.S. For the benefit of people like FF who doesn't get it, his english is not so hot. So he thought that was the actual saying! Love you fadzil. =P
You know whats annoying?
*you?*
Unfriendly people.
You see, I do this thing, it has become somewhat of a habit since way back. It's called smiling.
And its hard to stop.
Don't you just like to randomly say hi and talk to someone sitting across you? Or smile at people when they walk pass you? Or wave to the ones who you have acknowledged before?
So it just breaks my heart into shattered unwanted pieces when you do those things and all they do is just ignore you or stare back at you with the worst expression on their faces.
Right Athirah?
*Referring to the person that we said hi to and he stared at us like one kind. *SLAP* YO MAMA never teach you manners eh?*
Sheesh.
So, do me a favour will ya? Learn to...
Appreciate it, thanks.
Oh and two more things.
Happy Birthday Sha!
AND the best news of the week : -
Ms Farah Hisham
Dear Farah.
Thank you for recently attending an audition in Kuala Lumpur for admission to the School of Music, University of Melbourne.
It is my pleasure to confirm that your playing meets the audition requirements for entrance--
That was all I needed to see before I ended up screaming like a mad woman.
Alhamdulillah... Thank you God.
It was pretty nerve wracking the audition.
